Have you heard of the new place on the block HEAD OF STEAM? Head of steam are originally from the North of England and have decided to open up a bar here, right in the center of Cardiff!
You will be able to find HOS on Church Street in the grounds of the old Harvester.
It has 19 lines with a selection of rotating craft keg, plus 10 cask ale lines, with beers sourced from the local area as well as from brewers across the UK.
As we've witnessed here at CardiffBlog, HOS also serves premium cocktails, which we can proudly say are delicious and carefully made by the trained bar staff. There are also a selection of tasty wines.
You will expect the traditional pub food with a contemporary twist.
Here at Cardiffblog we decided to opt for the tapas. It is safe to say it did not disappoint!
If you are looking for somewhere to go for lunch, or out on the town on the weekend, then the Head Of Steam really is a great place to be!
Below you are able to see the inside of Head of Steam, which boasts a quirky but contemporary decor.
It also provides two retro betting stations, one by Blueprint gaming and one Breaking bad Theme - are you a fan?
Own a dog?
Another benefit of the newly opened bar and restaurant is that it is dog friendly!
Olive thoroughly enjoyed herself, can't you tell?
She was spoiled rotten with the attention from the other VIP Guests!
With the newly opened Crafty Devil next door, and the botanist on its way to opening in the old Poundland store which will contain a rooftop bar, Church Street really is up and coming for some of the best bars in Cardiff!
